Ladies Cycling Training
Introducing ladies of all ages into the pleasure of cycling
We aim to build your confidence on a bicycle so you
- Are confident to handle your bicycle;
- Able to hold your own on the roads;
- Can safely ride in a group
- Meet a whole bundle of like-minded ladies
What you will need
- A bicycle
- A helmet
All exercises will be run in small groups of a similar ability to cater for the relevant needs
Exercises will be run Saturday mornings for about 1.30 hr leaving the meeting point at 7.30am and on Wednesday mornings for about 1 hr at 6.00am. Please note the meeting point for each session.

Bike fitting, cadence, and gears

Wednesday 13 March – Meeting at Gokart Track – 6.00 am
Bike skills – confidence with your bike
Saturday – 17 March – Meeting at Touch Club Rooms (behind Oasis) 7.30am
Cycling in a group – hand signals
Coffee – talk – at Touch Club Rooms – Truck Drivers view – Cyclist on the road
Wednesday 21 March – Meeting at Gokart Track – 6.00am
Bike skills and corners
Saturday 24 March – Meeting at Touch Club Rooms (behind Oasis) 7.30am
Cycling in a group – drafting and rotating
Coffee – talk at Touch Club Rooms – Nutrition
Wednesday 28 March – Meeting at Gokart Track – 6.00am
Bike skills – confidence with your bike
Saturday 31 March – Meeting 7.30am – T.B.A
Cycling in group – drafting and rotating
